About Our Daily Meditation Practice



As our core offering, the BENSHEN Membership is a container to help you powerfully get from where you are now to where you want to in just four weeks. Our membership brings together a global community of women ready to unlock personal power and radically transform their lives, together.
At the heart of this membership is our daily meditation practice, which lasts about 30 minutes total - a few moments to set an intention, a short warm up, a short and sweet 3 minute practice, a longer 11 minute meditation, and then finishes with a daily prompt for reflection.
Why? Because to change your life, it's important to first change your mind. Meditation helps to reframe the inner workings of your subconscious mind - the storehouse of all your beliefs and stories about yourself in relation to the world.
Your subconscious governs 95% of your mind, while the conscious mind only makes up 5%. Therefore, what is stored in your subconscious drives your conscious actions, decision and choices.
With daily practice, you begin to rewire old beliefs so you can cultivate new, empowering ones. Suddenly, change no longer feels like an uphill battle and resistance begins to melt away.
As you develop an empowered relationship with your mind and create new beliefs, you begin to feel more grounded and inspired as you move toward your goals and dreams.
A DAILY CLEARING - Meditation helps clear what’s stored in the subconscious mind, so you can begin to shift limiting beliefs that may be holding you back in various areas of life.
DEVELOP NEW HABITS - With daily practice, you begin to release the old beliefs + patterns that no longer serve you as you start to orient your subconscious mind with your conscious desires and create new neural pathways.

FAQ’s
How do the daily meditations work? Every month, we pick two practices that align with the seasonal theme/arc. We pick two meditations, approximately 15 minutes total meditation time, because there are so many different Kundalini practices to choose from! However, while we mostly choose Kundalini meditations for our morning practice, there are so many other beautiful practices, tools and lineages we explore.
Where are the meditations hosted? Once you become a paid subscriber, this post is where you can find the zoom link for our daily practice. While Substack does have a livestream offer we may utilize in the future, we are currently loving ZOOM as it allows us to practice together! The replay will be saved for paid subscribers in this substack portal!
What if I can’t join live? All meditations + workshops are saved right here on Substack for replay!
How to learn the meditations for the month? An instruction video for the practice for the month will be pre-recorded and posted one week prior to the new month beginning. This will give you enough time to learn the practice and get ready to begin.
*If you are pregnant, as always, consult with your doctor or physician before starting any new practice or regimen. Desirée will give modifications in the instructions video for those who are pregnant!
Can I join at any time of the month? Absolutely! While the practices are designed as a monthly container, BENSHEN is really an oasis for you to come when you need to get grounded, clear and be surrounded by community.
Do I have to do them first thing in the morning? While we encourage you to practice first thing to set the tone for the day, we also encourage you to just get it done when you can! And if you miss a day, just keep going! This is not meant to create stress or heaviness in your life but to be a space for you to take care of you.
